Oh I've done this too on my TI Launchpad projects. Supposedly there is a way to attach a debugger, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I turned the LED on and used longer and shorter "on" times to differentia

It's not just Npm, RubyGems has essentially the same issue. I think the real lesson is "be careful what you install".

A fun bit of info, you can get access to the method cache data directly from Ruby (in MRI) using `RubyVM.stat`. The variables are not really well named, but here is a test program to demonstrate the behavior: class Foo; end

It's possible to do that in AdequateRecord, but I've purposely left the mechanism undocumented because the API is not stable. You can do something like this: statement = undocumented_method_call { |params| Article.where(x

We take performance very seriously, but we can't locate and fix every perf regression on our own. If you can give us metrics and repro code, we can work to fix the issues.

I commented on the OP's article, but do this for the pk: create_table(:users, id: :uuid) do |t| t.string 'name' end And to make sure the extension is enabled, (in your migrations) do: enable_extension 'uuid-ossp'

I'd like to figure out where the memory consumption is. I feel like we could do a better job reducing the cold start memory footprint. I've done some stuff with routes, but I feel there are other wins we could get. The good news is we h
