I do know from my experience with test automation that you can absolutely view a site as human eyes would, essentially ignoring all non-visible elements, and in fact Selenium running with Chrome driver does exactly this. Wouldn’t AI scraper

I love this because it demystifies the inner-workings of AI. At its most atomic level, it’s really all just conditional statements and branching logic.

This reminds me of the classic Star Trek (TOS) episode “The Ultimate Computer” where Kirk convinces the AI to commit suicide.

Reminds me of a video on The Onion where macbooks were using a single giant click-wheel as the sole input device.

Clipping diodes are common in distortion effects as well, especially guitar distortion pedals. Examples include silicon, germanium, LEDs, etc.

Yep, working with bundler and npm for a decade plus has made me appreciate these tools more than you can know. I had just recently moved to Python for a project and was delighted to learn that Python had something similar, and indeed uv is

Agree with this sentiment - it’s easy to be judgmental about these things, but project-level issues and decisions can be very complicated and engineers often have little to no visibility into them. We’re using Kafka for a gigantic pipeline

This is disturbing. There is absolutely no valid reason to make OTA updates to your ECU or other essential components. Never. Ever. If there ever was a need to do such an update, it should be made in the dealership by a professional who can

Love the design and concept of a tiny planet - reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy in that way. Definitely needs a tutorial or a short “How to Play” dialog or page.

All text should be selectable (and therefore readable) to support accessibility tools - at least if you’re app or site is Section 508 compliant or similar.

About a decade ago, I was the sole developer for a special project. The code took 2 weeks to complete (a very simple Java servlet + JDBC app) but an entire year to actually deliver due to indecisive leadership, politics, and extremely overz

I’ve tried this method, but it didn’t work out for many reasons. I often have to deal with people I don’t personally know for various reasons (mechanic, lawn care, doctors, school staff, etc.), and I have missed too many important calls lik

XML might have “lost” but it’s still a format being used by many legacy and de novo projects. Transform libraries are also alive and well, some of them coming with hefty price tags.

As a Black Sabbath fan, I love that they envisioned dystopian stuff like this. Check out their Dehumanizer album.

BTW the O2 monitoring is inaccurate and unreliable compared to a proper pulse oximeter.

This is just an introductory language and if you’re in a CS program, you’ll definitely move on to more advanced ones. It actually makes sense to switch to Python since it’s far more ubiquitous and accessible than Scheme. Scheme is not widel
