That is not the only effect of scopolamine. It's a very potent deliriant. In Colombia it has been used by attackers (referred to as "devil's breath", blown into the face) to cause amnesia and a very docile state (a victi

My tab hoarding has evolved a bit. I use separate windows that are mostly subject-based now. I might have an Amazon window that sticks around for several days that will explode with tabs before I decide to put in an order. If I get on a Fac

There are some newer types of probiotics (called "spore-based") which claim better shelf stability (don't require refrigeration) and resistance (to populate further down the digestive system). But you're absolutely right

I went down the rabbit hole with it and even briefly tried it out via wine before giving up. Pretty unfortunate that there isn't even an electron app. The web gui is just painfully slow and clunky (plus not being able to download/

Fwiw Orion uses the actual extensions, not the uBO Lite app (for Safari) that I think you're referring to.

I have been wondering about these oral probiotics for a while. I have used BLIS K12 lozenges before and had a strange experience- it seemed like they changed my baseline for what I could detect as fresh/clean breath and I began noticin

A few of my favorite artists have dropped from Spotify (for great reasons that I agree with) and I want to switch to something else. I gave Apple Music a try but the interface is just unbelievably bad. Also I am a Linux user and the lack of

Much of the data is just scraped from public records that aren't going away. (Yes, collection/resale of those records should be restricted...there is good reason for some types to at least be available)

Welcome...1998 was my year of the Linux desktop. Valve seems to have been dredging all of the "maybe"s over the last few years on a few different fronts. Big ups to them (not that they don't get enough praise...still!)

My guess would be there is probably some contamination with something ergot-like going on. Long-lasting but maybe hard to detect because such a small amount is needed for effect that it's easy to miss.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of the overcooked look either. The damage really adds up quick, I doubt many look ahead to their 40s-50s while torching their 20s away though (something something youth wasted on the young)
