Of course most (all?) jobs are bullshit. No one should want to work for someone else's dream. You work for money or you're a fool.

It's been a long time since my DSP classes at uni, but I don't think this is true. 44.1kHz sampling is enough to reproduce up to 22.05kHz sound accurately without aliasing. Unless there is another type of distortion you might be p

I really wanted to move everything to Porkbun from Gandi after their announcements, but they don't support .st names and I'm not interested in having multiple providers. So I'll be sticking with them until further notice. The

Also called Ocimum sanctum. There are a few different varieties of holy basil, too. Some are mostly used for their medicinal value and some for cooking. I'm not 100% sure which type is used in Thai cuisine, though.

There's a huge difference on my laptop (Intel iGPU + nvidia dGPU, though the nvidia chip has no video decode capability) in battery life between software decoding and using the Intel quicksync hw codecs, at least with mpv. Using the dm

FYI, it takes some pretty high-level approval at AWS for someone to make a change on their "status" page (signaling SLA breaches and money stuff). Not an actual live status page.
