The Nexus S is a 4" device and I agree that it was a good size. OTOH, Nexus 4 has a 4.7" display.

If you use cloudprint (link: http://www.google.com/cloudprint ), you can already save PDFs or any other URL directly to Google Drive. I use this all the time to save online confirmations, receipts, etc.

What did she say when you showed her the Nexus 7 a few months ago? (I'm only asking this because you wrote "... never before shown the slightest interest in an Apple offering.")

Actually, they do. It's just that, in the US, the premium is hidden away behind the expensive contracts that the carriers require. See this very insightful article on the subject: < http://ben-evans.com/iphone-pricing-and-us-market-shar

In any case, they lost me at S-Voice. Samsung is going to compare Siri to S-Voice instead of upgrading to Android 4.1 (JellyBean) first and then boasting about Google Now? Really? They are simply delusional. Also, what are all those terms a

iPad 2 has a dpi of 132, Nexus 7 213, and iPad 3 264. Nexus 7, while not "retina", is closer to iPad 3 than iPad 2.

Can you walk us through the math you did to arrive at the following conclusion? A 7.85" iPad could have the exact same resolution as a non-retina 9.7" iPad and still have the same pixel density as the iPhone.

Why would you consider it fragmentation even if (and that's a big if...not going to happen) Apple allowed Chrome for iOS to use its own version of WebKit (and V8!) instead of UIWebView? That doesn't make any sense.

It appears that software updates for even Nexus devices have to undergo some sort of carrier approval. See Google employee Jean-Baptiste Queru's Google+ post and follow-up comments on this topic: https://plus.google.com/1122188726494564137
