Another way to describe this is "lame click bait journalism" by a once great (if biased) news outlet. Crying shame that post-truth is the norm for major news outlets. UK is becoming the US.

Me too, Manchester uni was good. I have written non-trivial systems deployed in 20 different sites that have never had a bug ever. My best are usually second systems, focus on simplicity, standardisation and resist scope creep. 100% coverag

Came here to say that. People sometimes mistakenly think that numbers or data in computers exist in some meaningful way. Everything in a computer is a model or record or representation that serves a purpose. All bugs and limits are features

Office on the desktop is kinda 2014 in itself. Email and wiki replaced word. Spreadsheets are good enough. Presentations are better when simpler. Perhaps not much more de is needed in desktop office tools?

This is not about electric power it's about electric hand breaks. Low quality mechanics is the norm in 70000 vehicles because of greed. Not technology issues. A decent hand break is known to humanity.

You don't have to pay anyone to sign a driver you write to use it yourself. With Windows you can write some software, but not all software. You have to pay Microsoft to sign drivers. The code that enforces that is the wall. No such cod
