They're completely different use cases. If I wanted to extract a single file from the "operating system", it'd require me downloading a gigabyte just for a megabyte.

If I didn't live in the US, I would have trouble imagining life without some sort of VPN based in the US. The amount of crap I experienced the last time I was overseas was astounding, and it seems to be getting worse, not better.

Why would you ignore them? Some of them were pretty good. Food doesn't need to have meat to be tasty.

What entails finding/exploring/joining such a co-op? It sounds like a much better concept than a traditional 9-5. Related to the parent: I've mentioned that I want a strict work/life balance, and a more aggressive work&#

I don't really care about all of the calls, but I'd like to say "here's a regex pattern describing a uri. once any connection with uri pattern closes (within 10 seconds), you can render." Yeah, this isn't grea

I recently was at a Panera Bread, and when I put my Android phone (with NFC) onto the table, it immediately helpfully popped open tagwriter. Turns out they didnt lock the tables' tags, so you could write urls and when people placed the

There's a lot of variations on "it's better to have loved", and this is one of them. You're more likely to regret not doing something than doing it with good intent and sound reason.

I'm a volunteer for The MADE, and as part of our preservation efforts, we maintain a (simplistic) gopher server (thanks to pyGopher). It's pretty neat bringing a computer old enough to drive back to life, getting an IP address, a

The problem with any mesh network is adoption, and unless this uses some sort of high range communications, I don't see how it'd work well on the given example of "ski slope". I wish they had more specs, less videos. edi
