This analysis is laughable. On what metric are Mensa member underachievers? Waving your hand saying "everybody knows" is not science. It's just an opinion. I will grant you that Mensa did absolutely nothing for me, and I stop

There is no way this was automatic parking. The only way for that to happen is if the Tesla hit it at speed. This was a rest area, where off ramps lead directly into parking lots where trucks are parked in rows in the middle of the lot. It

There is no straight up MIDI keyboard available with poly aftertouch. There are weird non-keyboards, such as the Seaboard and the Linnstrument. The Launchpad Pro is also not a keyboard, and frankly its poly aftertouch implementation is so s

The brilliance of the Hydrasynth is not just the sound, but how well organized it is. It is a dream to program due to the signal path button matrix, and the OLED displays for the parameter knobs. Tap an OSC module, and all your params are t

A good auditor will do exactly that: audit the evidence to certify compliance with the documented controls. It is not their job to specify controls, unless the controls are specifically called out in the standard against which they are audi

Indeed, and I use my Hydrasynth Deluxe to drive Arturia CS-80 V4. It is the first reasonably authentic recreation, and it is a testament to the brilliant design of the CS-80 that it took this long for virtual analog recreations to reproduce

My office/music studio is in my finished basement. I use two open bulb fixtures, 4 bulbs each, with Sylvania TruWave soft whites ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08MWYMZCK ), on an LED dimmer switch set to around 60% (m

Vim was stagnant until Neovim became a threat. And it was never about Lua. It was about the need for async. Bram ignored the community, and so the community responded, and made something better.

The only issues I have ever had are from buggy HDMI ports on docks. Once I switched to USB-C to Display Port cables, I have had zero issues running dual 4K displays on my Macbook Pros of various models. Currently an M1 Max 16".

This is not a rant about Jira. This is a rant about doing Agile in the enterprise. I can rant about Jira, but it's about the horrible UI. It's buggy. The settings system is a mess. It's not intuitive. Even clever people need

An even cheaper tier is to Google PARA and Zeitelkasten and read the many tutorials that are freely available. Then it's just a matter of trying them, see what works for you, and see if you can stay consistent. These systems are guidel

I think you made my point for me. LV2 has multiple issues, and its technical capabilities don't even enter the picture. First, it has a very complex API, and many developers who attempted it found that it was not worth the effort. Too

Your very first sentence is why CLAP is going to succeed in the long term. It is why CLAP was developed. It it an open standard that gives developers what they need in a way that LV2 never will. For many devs, it will be their primary CI&#x

I have the same story. But the ironic thing is, the Odyssey2 was a superior system to a 2600. But Atari had all the major titles locked up, and back then, nobody did ports. All deals were exclusive.

Yeah. The "nm" in a node designation is nothing but marketing now, since 3D FET designs have completely changed what "nm" means.

That's analog for you. You essentially have a speed of light connection from the frame buffer to the electron gun, with no processing involved. As fast as the bits can be read from the data buffer they appear on the screen.

That's not what a wavetable is, by any definition relevant to synthesis. Of course the VS has waveforms stored consecutively in ROM, with 32 more stored in NVRAM. That's just data. In wavetable synthesis, an entire table of consec

The VS does not use wavetables like the PPG. Vector synthesis is in a category of its own. It uses four single-cycle waveforms that can be selected individually, and one morphs among them in a 2D plane using a joystick or via envelopes and
