I did this to all my social media accounts and all personally identifiable information on them. No pictures, no dates, locations, etc.. They now exist for messaging and group participation, and nothing else.

It was rumors of this process that made me encourage everyone to use a 12-digit or greater passcodes.

If you are the only one editing your documents, and if you have a workflow that which needs nothing more than what Markdown provides, this is well and good. But in the business world, particularly legal and finance, this is rarely the case.

The fact that they posted this drivel to HN also demonstrates that they do not know their audience.

Another +1 for Newsblur. I have been a paid user ever since Google Reader shut down. Its design goal was to fill just that gap, so for those who loved the workflow of Reader, Newsblur was the obvious choice. Of course, it has far exceeded R

I know Samsung tried to use 2001 as proof of art for the Apple infringement lawsuit re: the iPad. But didn't they also cite the pads in ST:TNG as well?

You don't seem to have a very good grasp of this subject and don't appear to have read the article very carefully. The only viable alternative to PCM is DSD, which failed to gain any traction for good reasons. So for all practical

The thing that keeps me in 1Password is its Team Vault support. Nothing works quite so well for maintaining a shared password vault. If I didn't need that, I'd drop 1Password for KeePass in a heartbeat.

No, that is not "all I've pointed out." I specifically addressed the change in production. My point is that I doubt renewable will scale sufficiently, and that tradition modes of production will likely see an expansion. That

No. This would be included in the app itself, and would no more interfere with Metal than one Metal app would interfere with another.

It will be interesting to watch this in light of the increase in electric transportation. If we were 100% electric, our energy grid in its current state would not be able to handle the load. If electric transportation sees exponential growt

Yep, that's what I buy. Best price you can find for something like this. The only real alternative I have found (for same or similar quality) is using a cobbler, for about twice the price.

I solved most of my back problems by switching to entirely flat shoes. No arch support at all. No heel drop. No sculpted foot bed. Thin soles. They are basically leather moccasins with a 3mm vibram sole. While making the adjustment, my calv

QBasic and QuickBasic are related, but not the same. QuickBasic was compiled to an EXE. QBasic was only interpreted. I never used QBasic, but I used QuickBasic extensively and remember when v.4.5 came out. I still have my QuickBasic manual,

Sorry, but this article is not even as convincing as Bob Lazar himself. I love that guy. One of the biggest and most genuine-sounding charlatans in the UFO community, but a hell of a lot of fun to listen to.

This has nothing to do with vulnerabilities in CSS or Javascript. It has to do with ill-conceived authentication implementations, written in Javascript, that save passwords in the DOM using attributes that are then accessible via CSS. That

True enough. But the colormath library, at least, supports a few colorspaces: Adobe98, sRGB, Lab at D65 or D50. But anything beyond that and it's useless. Cannot even set the observer angle or the rendering intent.

Glad to see this. Python needs better color tools. There is the colormath module, but it is missing a lot of essential functionality, especially for anyone trying to use it for printing. It's useless for CMYK work. Nothing out there ca

What a bunch of BS. This is pretty much lauding a return to the days of the cave man, where the only way to communicate information is to draw pictures or pass on an oral history. No, no, and hell no.

So, what do mean-only eaters do about constipation? Because I've gone meat/fat only for periods of time, and if I didn't simultaneously supplement with fiber (usually hemp and chia), the results were not pretty.
