Yeah. Was hoping Strange New Worlds would be more TNG like but with ethical dilemmas of our time (ie black mirror but much more optimistic) but, meh. Not as meh as Discovery, but the Orville does it better.

I think everybody should read the two Economic Hitmen books by John Perkins.

It’s mostly the anti AI crowd that thinks that people that work LLMs think this way. I’ve never met anyone that actually does think this way.

I don't like vibe coding myself, but I love AI assisted development, my new bottleneck is no longer the search for syntax and features but my understanding. Am I welcome on your platform?

Yeah bit strange remark. Many people I know drive thousands of km for their summer holiday.

The GOS people really spend a lot of time of energy showing the worst sides of FairPhone to the world. I think it is because the conscientious technology user is really interested in the combination of ethically sourced, repairable hardware

It’s written in Claudish, or perhaps a human who has been reading too much Claudish recently. I am starting to become allergic to Claudish. Not there fully yet — but it’s at a tipping point genuinely worth exploring and worth being precise

I've been off vaultwarden for 2 years now I guess, but I remember that having to share cedentials with my wife I had to make an organization in the admin interface. Then add us both to that org. There was no sharing of just 1 credentia

Privacy and security from what is the question. From big tech or from criminals and governments that take your device and plug it into cellebrite machines? I for one prefer to be protected from big tech. Sure GrapheneOS does both, but Apple

Just now the sentence: “Vibe (Teams): Administrators can disable data training usage for the entire organization.” Was added to tfa. And I now see an org wide toggle where there was none before! Sadly it was on so I hope no users submitted

You are right! They must have just now switched this back, I also have the toggle now! It was turned on sadly but it’s something.

Ok it (org wide toggle) just (24h after posting this) returned and the docs were changed again! They now include the text: "Vibe (Teams): Administrators can disable data training usage for the entire organization." That’s nice!

My allergy to Claudish is also rapidly progressing. I think it’s now at a boundary that is genuinely worth exploring. Oh no!

I once walked into a drive through in Texas (Galveston) with a group of scientists there for a conference (because main restaurant was closed), we almost got shot (no not really but people felt very very threatened and threatened us)!

The US is extremely car focused, which they often don't really realize. Things that are normal here (like everybody has a bike) conflicts with their cyclers vs drivers culture. Such a distinction simply does not exist here. Instead we

Haha, I was more like: I have to think alone now. But I get the feeling, as someone who has always made a point of using only foss on my own machines (own the means of production so to say), this is a weird time. I don't like it, I hop

Mistral support just confirmed that the org-wide toggle was removed from the Team plan earlier this year and made exclusive to the enterprise tier. I bet that if you signed up earlier, they didn't remove it from your account, but it&#x

I think it only goes for new users/orgs. I was caught between the time they changed the default and updated their docs. I don't believe they would alter users/organizations exiting choices. In facts, from some of the response

I think they removed the toggle for new customers (on the Team plan) because I don’t have it. If I had, I probably wouldn’t have posted this. I mean it’s still annoying that I subscribe my org because they say the toggle is off, then find u

This is about the Team plan specifically, which was like enterprise before. And it’s about the removal of the option to disable training on user input for all users from said plan at the org level, all last week.

They don’t switch it for you probably, that would be very bad. But the default for new users and orgs on the Team plan just changed. But they didn’t update the docs for a while which left me confused as I started my subscription after they
