To get subs in my language I do have to go to go-anime. Which is btw pretty bad (sometimes you have to reload 30 times before something starts, summaries are wrong, no chromecasting, etc.)

Man, and I was already annoyed that my tax money went to extra police to prevent idiots from fighting and wrecking stuff around matches. I for one think that football streaming should be blocked when I'm pulling docker images ;)

That might be down to the weirdness of (or Linux's unfamiliarity with) Apple silicon, not ARM in general.

It's a shame indeed. I've been a long, long time Linux user and just trained myself to always power off (although I feel that in the old days this was less of an issue? Can that be? Just install ACPI-tools or something?), feels mo

I've always this attitude that the one after me should not face the same issues as I had and so I update all wrong documentation, this also helps me remember how stuff works. But I have had many occasions where I just had to give up. P

Whenever I read about such issues I always wonder why we all don’t make more use of BitTorrent. Why is it not the underlying protocol for much more stuff? Like container registries? Package repos, etc.

Sure, but it’ll balance a fast charge with battery longevity. And you may not want any balance. You may just want longevity.

Happend to my father as well, his songs were all over the place with the same albums even sharded over multiple folders etc. A big mess. Left him pretty sour indeed, he had spend a lot of time on it. Btw, it was fine from withing iTunes, ju

Yeah, I spend a night on writing some python to disentangle my un-amused father's music collection when he stopped using iTunes. What a mess.

Ah yes because they can’t measure streams with blocked ads. And what’s up with that “subscribing”, never saw the use for it, yet many (respectful, great) creators beg for it. I almost feel bad for not using the feature. I mean, I’m watching

I don't mill my flour of course, I do get it at a mill which does, because I bake a lot of bread and 5 kg bags are cheaper. That said, if you take my pancake example, you literally replace the flour with more expensive pancake mix. Ok,
