Sounds like when we first had smartphones with orientation sensors and we could drink a beer from the phone, so cool... for 2 weeks.

“What you made with Sora mattered”. Idk why that sentence irks me so much. Perhaps because the “how” is bit vague. I like to think that what I made in the toilet this morning also mattered.

Doesn't work well on mobile, it's all spacebar based (hold and tap).

Thanx. I tried to use several of these services (because I don't use Twitter/X myself so got context from a Dutch website) but didn't get it to work (was very probably just me). Xcancel is indeed a much better experience.

Ah ok, well, save for some drafts I wouldn't mind opening the repo which is just a Hugo system intended for a public website anyway. But good to know. Perhaps I will self-host that forgejo instance then :)

Uhm, is it? I have some small repos there, which are private and for my company (ie the website). I didn't encounter any warnings? Edit, it says indeed (right in your face on the front page): Codeberg is a non-profit, community-led eff

DNA is a language, Proteins are language. LLMs seem perfectly suited to make good suggestions (not perfect models!) to limit the near infinite search space, together with human intellect. Idk why you would be against this.

As a Dutch person having spend many summers in France, I can say that the latest generations are much more tolerant and friendly. When I was young (90’s) I saw camping owners with war grudges screaming “Campsite Full!! (Complet!! In French)

As someone using agents (like Claude Code), but really not being at home with NPM (never did anything with javascript) etc, I do like this. But, I'm on Linux ;) I've made some containers for my agents atm (asking them to `ls` and

"I don't hear a lot of people doing this though? Maybe we just don't have good language for it." Interesting thought. I guess we don't really, vibe coding is to powerful a term. But perhaps just call it LLM assisted

I also don't understand the focus on vibe coding in the marketing. Vibe coding kind of has the image of being for non-devs, right? I do like agents (like Claude Code), but I don't consider myself to be vibe coding when I use them.

I often wonder these days. When I refuse all this madness, just stick with Linux, put my kids on Linux. Use VPNs that obscure all my traffic, throw key parties (read Cory Doctorow's Little Brother from some suggestions). What are they

I always wonder about this. I read most dialogs (as I do) but man, the sanity of most people must require that they just next next next this stuff right? Perhaps they even let their kids do it instead.

I’d say: deeply think if it matters. Does it really matter to you. Does it change its impact? What does it tell you about you whether it does or does not matter? It’s art to me. But is it Art capital A? What have we created?
