Chances are the options weren't restricted options that employes could exercise ahead of time and that there was a 4 year vesting cliff. Most people don't exercise options at vesting time so I'd bet that most of the options were taxed as s

I'm guessing it's related to their cloud offering. The ability to have a big pool of IP addresses that they can offer to people using their cloud means they don't have to ration them quite as strictly. Amazon already limits you in the am

Yep, that's the boat I'm in. I've got google apps for my own domain, and maintain 2 personal accounts on there (one for friends, one for acquaintances), my work is also on google apps. That means that there are already 3 google accounts t

Looks interesting enough for me to purchase it. I think it attacks a common calendar problem that's missing in the default calendar app of actions that you want to take as future events become the present. Most apps just offer alerts, but

Looks like a good start to something potentially very useful. Some suggestions: I'd like to see how old a tweet is. I don't have any idea how fresh some of this information is (without clicking on the user and searching through their histo

There's a transparent png file in the source files that I've got out on bitbucket ( https://bitbucket.org/tednaleid/vim-shortcut-wallpaper/src/t... , the white letters don't show up on bitbucket's white background), you can take that file a

I like it! I released the source file in the post so that people could tweak the image to their tastes (either the background if they didn't like the gradient) or the commands if they'd rather see other information.

I don't disagree with any of the comments about missing things in my wallpaper. There are many more ways to accomplish movement within Vim beyond this image. Available space, both on the screen as well as in a beginner's brain, was my prim

I agree that Esc is clunky, but most people don't know that ctrl-c has the same behavior. If you remap your caps-lock key to ctrl, it's a very natural keystroke (at least for me) where you don't need to leave the home row.

Could you use a private BitBucket repo for this? BitBucket has the same kind of pull request functionality that I'd think you could use to emulate this continuous delivery style.

This sounds like a feature branch strategy, which I've only used in 1 or 2 person teams, never on projects that big. There have been some articles recently on the downsides of feature branching that my experience agrees with ( http://contin

I'm a big fan of DBVisualizer ( http://www.dbvis.com/ ), and have used it almost daily for ~6 years now on OSX. It's not a perfect OSX app (it's cross platform Java, but quite good looking for what that normally implies). Lots of power,

From my experience, at Very Large Corp, if there are any vim users, they're likely in ops rather than developers. In smaller companies, you're much more likely to run into vim users. My company of ~10 developers has 6 devs that are signif
