That was fast, which feels oddly positive. My brother died from cancer and spent a full year in agony. I do cancer screenings every 3 years given my brother died relatively young from stomach cancer. Lately I have been thinking on adding wh

The author is not just a regular vibecoder. He’s a very talented artist. Most people will be creating unengaging, boring and tasteless apps and games with AI.

I’m not impressed by ChatGPT writing the code for this game. The author has beyond average vision and taste. I’m excited to see what other creative little geniuses will be able to do when these tools get better and cheaper. I think creative

Violence has plagued US politics since literally the creation of the country. Four sitting presidents killed and a few other close calls, governors and senators shot, almost in every decade. So it’s not like horrific events like this are ne

It’s a supply and demand problem. There are just not enough people pursuing these jobs to replace the retiring generation. Some of these small family businesses are quite profitable, but most owners don’t have kids interested in continuing

The EU has a very long history of killing entrepreneurship. It is not a coincidence the largest and more innovative companies in the planet are not from Europe despite having both the financial and human resources. This is very unlikely to

In this particular case I much rather use an ORM with caching of view models. I understand the article and the problem, but it doesn’t seem to be a good case for the proposed solution here. This data doesn’t change often and it’s not critic

TL;DR The Therac-25 was a radiation therapy machine built by Atomic Energy Canada Limited in the 1980s. It was the first to rely entirely on software for safety controls, with no hardware interlocks. Between 1985 and 1987, at least six pati

This is a good article and I appreciate the author sharing his ideas. But that screenshot showing an example of poorly written code. Man if someone in your team is writing code like that you have much more serious problems. I understand the

In my experience and use case Grok is pretty much unusable when working with medium size codebases and systems design. ChatGPT has issues too but at least I have figured out a way around most of them, like asking for a progress and todo sum

Aging and cognitive decline is real. I do notice I don’t respond as quickly as in my twenties when presented with problems that require logical reasoning and abstract pattern recognition for example. This is usually not a problem because mo
