Intro to computer science freshman year of high school in 2004 was still using turbo pascal and it was great. Dropping into BGI graphics mode was a great beginner friendly way to draw shapes and make some cool things. It's what got m

I'm totally capable of having interesting conversations with strangers thank you very much, but Uber rides almost inevitably lead to one of 4 out 5 topics with rare exceptions. Frankly I'd pay extra for an option to say "I p

I commute via Uber so the idea of having to talk every time is awful. Plus after a while every Uber conversation is exactly the same.

I ultimately cancelled Blue Apron because the recipes as written were awfully bland. I also found the prep times listed on the recipes to be absolute fabrications. I felt like I could make simpler meals with less prep and cook time that t

I finally switched to Chrome from Firefox just last week. I just couldn't take the hang ups anymore. Here I am with an absurdly beefy game development workstation and it's hitching switching tabs and scrolling pages. Absolutely

In what universe can you possibly explain to an anxious, confined whale that their non-ideal living conditions (read: conditions which kill them) is at least beneficial to their species? How does this make the practice any less cruel? Readi

I've heard a Trump presidency described as a "productive apocalypse" which honestly I wish we could have avoided entirely but maybe just maybe we'll get some progress out of it in certain areas in the end.
