At some point in history, I had the misfortune of working with Stratus hardware. Not quite where you describe the Z system, but it did operate with hot swappable components, and multiple OS's running in a "fault tolerant" man

I'd recommend noting down your area. You're going to get a lot of advise, and it's probably very good advice in general. But as someone not in the US, a lot of what I'm reading does not reflect my local market. Edit: Tha

It continues to be an annoyance that we have this great technology in the form of U2F, but Office365/Azure (where troyhunt.com's MX records currently point by the way) doesn't support it. In fact their UX still strongly pushe

While I'm reading this, I feel more and more like asking: Am I the only one that finds TLA+ much easier to read and write than PlusCal? It's an odd thing to say, with PlusCal positioned as the easier option.

Fairfax owned SMH were one of the major groups lobbying for these measures, largely due to impact on cable TV sales. It's no surprise they claim they were successful, and it's not one we can consider overly credible. Around the ti

People laugh at most DLP solutions. I know I used to. But then, I used to think the target was smart people trying to exfiltrate data. But then I implemented one on a busy mail system, and I started seeing credit card numbers very regularly

I'm playing around with react-dom-lite, and frankly it's exactly what I need - I'm getting less worried about IE support by the day, and it drops the bundle size by quite a bit. I'd love to see React itself ship with opt

The major hold up on deploying SRI is that a lot of third parties aren't supplying immutable content. Google Analytics or recaptcha for example aren't versioned. Deploying SRI is just going to break your site when they update the

Is anyone aware of whether there was a reason the DNS entry didn't let you specify a host. For example, _mta-sts.example.com. TXT "v=STSv1; id=20180928;host=mta-sts.example2.com" I've got 15 domains on

As annoying as that is, if I can run U2F on the root account and the few console accounts I have, I'll feel like we've covered thing most likely to be phished. People are unlikely to type API keys into a phishing site.
