Been using Go for 4 years. I totally agree. It sucks to have to use your brain to think about alternative ideas on how to do something. However, I’ve come across much much better solutions to my problems than I would have if Go offered a

I disagree. I don’t want to have to hunt around for the definition of users to know how to use it. Yes the compiler will throw an error, but that doesn’t help me when I’m typing code.

"You cannot invalidate individual JWT tokens" This is not exactly true. There are lots of things you can do to expire tokens. For instance, every JWT has a creation date stamp so you could say on the server side all tokens created

In the closed box that this chip is in, as long as it meets power usage spec then it doesn't really matter what Arch it is. Not sure what the big deal here is other than some personal bias the author has against x86

When you hit a critical size your database can no longer handle the throughput of the lookups. You'll then install memcache or some other tech and the stack JUST FOR handling the tokens is a majority of your datacenter load. Most start

CentOS is based on a stack that is nearing 5 years old so that makes sense. The driver world (even mesa itself) has matured greatly since then. Mesa and Nvidia even have libraries now that help them coexist instead of replacing/overwri

Yeah, not sure why you would be in Grub for Nvidia graphics drivers. This whole thing seems pretty odd to me since I've not seen a Nvidia driver problem in several years. Was he trying to use like Ubuntu 12.04 or something. Manjaro is

I know my interview with Riot was more like a freshman college hazing. At the end they setup a 2nd call and I was like wtf. They said they were just testing me to see if I could handle the culture and that I passed so I can move on to the n

If you can't figure out how to tune 1 documented option in Go to fix this issue caused by this one specific use case (which he did figure it out and it was resolved).. Then you're probably not using C either.

They are also gambling that they are worth it and that you can't live without them vrs the competition. Which now with DRM only option, the competition just moved into first place.

I've cancelled my Safari subscription and moving everything over to Apress. This is definitely a very sad day. I own every O'Reilly book ever published DRM Free and still had Safari, but never again. Apress, Informit, and Packtpu

I have 2x Dodge Caravans 2005, and a 2000 Miata. Luckly the vans have AUX ports along with the mid-vehicle 6 disk dvd player. No usb, bluetooth, or tape deck.
