But what about when multiple nodes have to coordinate to do a write?

Due to Amdahl's law, you surely don't get 32x write throughput from having 32 write masters however.

codecompanion.nvim has some pretty nice ways to get context into the llm chat without copying and pasting.

I would love to code more on nights and weekends, but if I spend too long at the computer it makes my body hurt and feel bad.

You shouldn't be rolling your own crypto primitives. You can completely implement the algorithm 100% 'correct' according to the research paper but introduce a side channel that could cause key extraction by an attacker. For i

Most of the time, obscure language can call out to C. Therefore you should almost certainly just use FFI and leverage a C implementation of whatever crypto algorithm you want to leverage.

I switched from vim to spacemacs back in 2017, (before recently switching to neovim). Emacs just seemed to have far superior packages compared to vim plugins (circa 2017), and with EViL mode honestly emacs just seemed like a better vim than

When building macros you can leverage OCR and image recognition so it can know how to find elements on the screen that you need it to click. I have barely scratched the surface of what it can do I am sure there is lots more.

Keyboard Maestro is a lot more powerful than what you're thinking of. A sequence of shell commands bound to hotkeys is in no way an adequate replacement.

In the end though, it's still rendering to a canvas. Flutter is basically the new flash. If you are in a business segment where lacking best-in-class accessibility could lead to huge ADA lawsuits, I'd steer clear of anything that

Flutter on the web is an absolute JOKE though. React native web & react-strict-dom seem far superior. The moment you want to support web as well, react-native blows flutter away. Also how's the accessibility on Flutter? I'm pr

With react-strict-dom, you'll be able to have far better code sharing between web and native. It will greatly assist the development of universal apps that target Web, iOS, and Android. Right now react-native-web is not nearly as good

There's no free lunch when it comes to targeting multiple platforms. It sucks to have to maintain separate iOS, android, and web apps, and it also sucks to use a cross platform framework. But I still feel in the end that for many CRUD

React native is finally pretty good this year. It still has problems but I feel like it's really starting to pick up momentum. When react-strict-dom is totally ready for prime time it's going to be a game changer and react native

You don't have to use Expo's SaaS to use Expo. Expo framework is 100% FOSS. However Expo Application Services is a really great SaaS product for doing things like cloud builds and Over-The-Air updates. The anti expo sentiment is a

Having used bare RN for 5 years, and recently started using Expo, there really is no reason to not use Expo at this point. The native dependencies are 100% solved by prebuilds, CNG, and config plugins.

Just use magit and easily make fixup! commits with like 3 key presses. Even if you don't use emacs keeping it around just to use magit is worth it. Edamagit for vscode users is not as good but it does this particular workflow great.

Async and multithreading are not the same thing. Async is about non-blocking execution between functions. JavaScript is inherently async because the concept of the event loop is baked into the very language runtime itself. In Java you can a
