This is a pretty decent forum. The link is for the Russian watch section. BUt over time some good posts and dicussion has happened in the past on identifying fakes and franken watches. [1] https://www.watchuseek.com/forums&#

As the other commenter said, the Vostoks made in Russian today are largely still of the same design with some small improvements and material changes. However, my comment was more meant for those tho might look and see if Vostok is still ar

That is my understanding. Outside of some smallish improvements and change of materials, they are relatively unchanged in the bigger picture. Still using the same movement designs, still have the wobbly crowns, etc.

I got into collecting Soviet watches, I still have them and love them, but I don't wear them as often anymore. They all work great, even the ones that are old. I also just love how they were nice, but not flashy. Also being a bit of a

Just a public service announcement for people interested into looking into Russian watches, and the watch makers that still exist. There are two Vostoks. There is Vostok Europe, which makes more "premium" watches at a premium pric

I havn't seen maps for bugs in general. But there are some maps the track specific bugs. Like I check for maps regarding ticks. They are getting farther and farther north.

Would be really nice to have. I hope we can get it with something like optionals you see in Rust or Swift. And really, with optionals, something like Swift's guard let statements.

I think this may be a better way to explain it. Supposed someone comes up with a C# proposal that defines a way to introduce the Result type enum system that Rust has as a replacement for Exceptions. Supposed this is a pretty solid plan, ea

I don't know how many actually did it. But a lot of the ATC Navy I knew planned that after their service they would just go civilian side. So I imagine it is substantial. Although, there is no telling, at least anecdotally from my expe

Wow, 41 for the Navy. Just looked it up and they bumped it in 2022. Thats insane. Looking at the article it must have had a previous bump or my memory isn't recalling right. When I enlisted in 2012, the age limit was 32-ish with 35 for
