I imagine without any discipline though you just get a consistent set of tests that no-one has the bandwidth to go and fix or make unflaky. I wonder if flakiness of tests correlates with discipline to paying down tech debt and improving tes

This was my experience too. Same thing happened with Facebook. No-one really noticed the account was gone. Doesn't mean I instantly lost all of my friends either ...

I guess YMMV though. I closed mine and it hasn't really affected anything. Career has been able to move forward full steam without it.

I deleted mine about 2 years ago and haven't looked back. It's not affected my ability find work one iota, and literally nobody has asked me about it.

I would say this is a little too cynical. Banks in Australia I would say are quite sensitive to fraud now given the recent royal commission. More likely is just that they don't care or understand the value of it, and most consumers don
