Maybe the group will be discovered and shamed, maybe it won't. I'm guessing the vast majority of Bittorrent users will never be affected.

I had the same thought. TorrentFreak explains it quite nicely: http://torrentfreak.com/anti-piracy-outfits-launch-attack-on... Those guys really are great journalists.

Impressive. Markets: law enforcement, sports photography, any consumer (so long as it could integrate into a Picasa or iPhoto).

True, just wish they'd put some meat on it! Tell us a bit about how it worked, what they captured. Then again, it is mass media and the comment is probably a reflection of me being too lazy to read the FCC report, etc. :)

We've had a few people introduced to be "advisors". Very hard to get the right balance of value for both parties. We bailed both times and decided to just back ourselves.

I know it's the BBC, but I am always disappointed by the technical calibre of these reports, "The data gathered included contents of some emails and web browsing history". Guess I should read Ars.
