I'm surprised no one mentioned rq [1] yet. It's come up before in older HN threads [2] whenever the discussion on jq comes up... [1] https://github.com/dflemstr/rq [2] https://news.ycombinator.co

I think people will eventually do this. But giving them a sane, simple starting point is probably a good idea. (Though I awhile ago threw all mine out and went with basic Doom setup, but everyone's journey will be different)

Yes, pages of them. Multiple pages of security questions, ciphers used, how data is stored, when is it encrypted, etc. I filled out a 20 pager once. As the company got better and more mature, we had a bunch of canned answers to make it ea

I've had a lot of good luck selling stuff on FB Marketplace. Try getting rid of it on Craigslist. At least with a matress you won't be getting people wanting to pay extra money with cashiers checks. ;) Note: I'm surprised

Bikes are a pretty big part of Italian transport, or at least more so than any other place I've been other than Amsterdam. My girlfriend lived in a small town about 1.5 hours outside of Milan for a year, and was surprised by the bike p

Interesting that it's only a 1200x1200 jpeg. You can't even make a good print of that for your wall. What's the owner do who displays it? Do they have to contact Beeple directly for their hi-res image that he gives them othe
