Note this was written by a "software engineer". A designer would have used white space for separation, not a line.

I don't think others were necessarily talking about "business". Though, yes, I prefer pinning dependencies for my personal projects. I don't see why things should break when I explicitly keep them the same .

Yes, your needs are simple. I've also been using GitHub actions for all my needs since Travis shut down and haven't run into any problems. I wouldn't want to maintain GitHub actions for a large project involving 50 people and

Ah yes, a very helpful link! I think the angle under which the sun rises/falls is steeper in spring/autumn. And summer/winter is less steep. And in summer it bends upwards when under the horizon, making summer sunset longer t

"Trust" screams insecurity. Security is in the direction of trustless rather than requiring trust. Do you trust companies which say front and center "you can trust us"? Wiz is a "security product"? Security isn

LLMs are good enough to solve my problems with flexbox. I gave a LLM a small self-contained flexbox-puzzle which I couldn't solve, and it solved it. The CSS it produced did the thing I asked. > If you aren't good at something y

Perhaps half the comments here mention Elixir. As of now, no comment mentions Gleam. I haven't used either, but been eyeing Gleam. According to GitHub stars (bad metric I know) Elixir isn't that much more popular than Gleam.

Well, "frontend development" means a million different things, but LLMs are very good at flexbox and grid (and I'm not). With backend I find they're good at the really high level (give me the options for architecture and
