The person you're replying to was reacting to your "reasonable possibilities are too many to analyze, one is forced to pretty much guess" statement. Not about perfect/imperfect knowledge.

> Is the game not interesting enough to play without it? Yes. Poker ceases to be interesting when not played for something . Chess and most other games are certainly different in this aspect.

A friend of mine always goes around parties and tells everyone to stay hydrated. It always feels completely out of place, and also it's saved me from many hangovers...

I'm 40 and very impressed by smartphones. Back in my day, we had a separate (wired) telephone, a camera, a notepad, paper maps, a walkman, and a million other things. Now I just have a phone and it can do all that and lots more.

I'm with my neighbor comments. How do you use Ubuntu without snaps? The base Ubuntu install already comes with several snaps. Installing random things through apt leads to snaps. I personally do not know how to avoid snaps on Ubuntu.

Agreed. How much future cash flow does a kilogram of gold generate? Gold has very little "intrinsic" (industrial) value. Most of its value is pure speculation. Would you say gold and bitcoin are rather similar then?
