I do think the problem is there is no differentiation between organic animal husbandry which has proven benefits (the pastures capture carbon dioxide etc) and the intensive factory farms. I have been reasonably selective of my meat sources

When i looked the SDK was only available in certain languages which was a issue for me at the time. I just checked and they have python and csharp. Pulumi has potential to reduce the verbosity of infrastructure configuration and enable engi

So true... I don’t do as you do with guest accounts etc i have premium because the only thing i hate more than my bubble is the adverts! I tend to unsubscribe, or tell youtube to stop showing me this.

As someone that has the utmost respect for his accountant i have serious issues with almost every point in this post. The logic is juvenile ultimately because the management team is responsible for the organisation and the accountant will b

I always had this in mind when i lived in London. In my experience i found the combination of vehicle exhaust pollution and pollen unbearable. Somehow the vehicle exhaust particles combine with the pollen and exacerbated my pollen allergies

No, most western countries that bought vaccines “over purchased” for this same reason too. For example the UK has purchased 400M doses so far. This PR piece summarises this objective. https://www.gov.uk/government/news&

We ditched the the tls termination in nginx strategy, shifted to a nlb with tls termination in app. We used let’s encrypt because we needed something dynamic so we didn’t have to manage certs. Well we received one of those CISO forms from a

Good for you as a parent I don’t allow my children to use apps with adverts. If the app is free with ads we buy the ad-free version or it’s a no go.

To me it feels as though the last decade and a half computational power has not grown vertically. Instead Intel and AMD have grown computational power horizontally (i.e adding more cores). I'm looking at the difference the M1 has had o

The Goal is a book that influenced me over 25 years ago. The concepts are sound but i have gifted it to over 20 people since and a handful get it for what it is. However it isn’t a book about business and more a story about complexity and c

As an individual yes but i’m not aware of companies having this problem. Does Google treats all its creators as people (i.e income tax) only or does it have the ability to recognise companies? I guess i can close this with the disbelief tha

I feel for business owners today, reviews are gamed more than ever and as a result have become much less valuable, harder to use for consumers, and with this fraud a few bad reviews can tarnish what is an unblemished customer service record

Yes I agree, but I think you miss the point. The reality is folks buying bitcoin are also indirectly betting on the failure of our globalised central banking systems. This was the pitch in the early days and it remains a key value propositi

Yes the attack surface before and after is the same ergo this is not security at all. The difference between 22 and 2222 is a nominal delay on a port scan. It would be far easier and more convenient to use a ip whitelist and a firewall to p

A better analogy is the game is like a ride at a theme park. The theme park was built by Apple. Many companies can make games/rides for the theme park but must pay a share of revenue from each customer going on rides. You can go on a r

Yes my frustration is the entire frontend in x framework now requires nodejs by default. I develop with Javascript (nodejs), Erlang(Elixir) and Ruby(Ror and Jekyll). The one pain point is managing the nodejs dependencies in these projects.
