Probably because diagonal is the only supplied value. That is mostly used for comparing screen sizes and little else. At least in my metric world. You could probably measure screen sizes in fractions of blue whales and it would work out exa

Some providers provide speedtests that test (only) last-mile speed between, e.g., cable modem and head unit. Mine does that and reports 1Gb/s just fine. Of course, only to the head unit, nowhere else in the universe.

That's not the right keys and not the right order to do that. You should not flush caches before you terminated as much processes as possible correctly. And you are rebooting at the end. REISUB for a somewhat safe EMERGENCY reboot and

My fossil knowledge might be a fossil itself, but isn’t the database used for everything? If someone gets hold of the hashes, they already have everything. So, whats the threat that is enabled by poor pw hashing? Anyways, passwords should a

Here's mythbusters doing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lttgT1XZVvE They estimate the savings at insane 20 feet at 20 something. Far from your claimed 100%. Could it be, that your road is not as flat as you think?

I seriously doubt those numbers (-50% fuel, energy harvesting by driving behind a truck) AND you are giving incentive to try dangerous driving. Please either back those numbers up with evidence or remove them for the sake of road safety.

There’s no need for changing mount options. If you want to allow mounting of degraded arrays, just put the degraded option there from the start.

In BTRFS, RAID1 simply means 2 copies on different devices. There is RAID1C3 and RAID1C4 if you want more redundancy/copies. This whole critique boils down to poorly chosen naming and bad documentation. Both VERY valid critique. But fe

Isn't this just passing the URL to archive.org which then does the actual archiving? If it isn't already public (i.e., reachable by archive.org), it won't be afterwards?
