I am a fairly unknown random person, and I get about 100 people a day to my personal blog, hosted on github pages. I don't promote it at all, it's mostly organic search results on whatever problem I've had to solve or soluti

I'd imagine you could start by whitelisting domains. This wouldn't help commercial sites but if you "followed" a domain it would be no worse than Twitter notifications.

Web annotation standards should not be a proprietary format, owned by a private company. Not sure if this W3C spec[1] is in the right direction, but at least it's an open standard. Personally, I liked the WebMention[2] model better (re

This makes me seriously consider switching from heroku for my rails postgres app. Probably could cut my costs significantly. Anyone have any comments or experiences with the Google app engine flex environment for ruby?

As a CA small business owner, I'd be much happier to just pay a simple payroll tax per employee than have this multi-step octopus process around open enrollment periods, health insurance brokers, differing city regulations (like SF), m

I wish someone should offer a "firebase for OT" SAAS that offers an API, SDKs for JS/iOS/Android and a few working samples. Every time I want a collaborative OT like environment for apps that I build, I end up: 1- implem

That's a really pitch great deck, Philip. Thanks for sharing. I have to admit - I don't totally understand why you pivoted for your V2. Couldn't you have just added on the "SMS" feature to your existing product?
