My heroku deploy succeeded, but my CircleCI run failed for the same reason. Had to upgrade package.json as well, since my circleci build downloads yarn each time. Probably not the most efficient way of doing this but it worked...

Can someone explain to me what the x-axis means in the "Divorce Rate By Occupation" chart? It seems to be just a random distribution from -1 to 1, because the author wanted to use dots to represent each title. I suppose that&#

Setting permissions on s3 buckets is absurdly complicated. Though it's no excuse, it's not surprising people leave it open, it's too hard to figure out how to lock it down. Amazon needs to share some of the blame here and cre

I think like devnonymous says, SnapCircuits are a good choice. They aren't breakable and can be quite fun to play with. But, to be honest, 5 is pretty young for them to grok a whole lot. Most of this at this age is really about build

If "coding speed" is the most important factor, dynamic languages will win over typed languages. Types force you to slow down. But they offer some obvious advantages in the long term [1] Not sure what the poster means by "d

You are comparing R&D with Cost of Goods - they are different things. Cost of goods refers to the production cost of an individual item. COG for app store is zero. You don't even pay for hosting your app on the app store. Softwa

The cost of goods on a cup of Starbucks coffee is substantial (servers, beans, equipment, rent, utilities, cup, creamer) The cost of goods on your $1 app is close to, and perceived to be, zero.

I just tried to move a rails app to appengine. It uses the flexible environment (eg, docker). It took like 10 or 15 minutes to deploy, each time. Heroku does my deploy in about 5 mins. https://groups.google.com/forum/
