LLMs love to sum things. up. On the one hand, this. On the other hand, that! It is very important. Challenges!

Weirdly, AIM was a great social media application. Anyone on AIM was on because they wanted to talk. I actually miss AIM a good amount, now you can reach anyone but you're always interrupting their life.

I'm visually impaired and not being able to write in a notebook is one of the relatively few things I actually miss.

Kagi is actually really good and usable. I'd pay for it just for the "I'm feeling lucky" bang alone. (Add ! to the end of your query.) The AI answer thing when you do ? is also pretty nice. Plus, no more doing weird java

Why lift weights when I could just use a forklift? At some point someone actually has to do some thinking. It's hard to train your thinking if you just offload every simple task throughout your entire education.

$3000 is a not so great one as well. They can go up to $16k for some 80 cell models. 20 cell ones have gotten pretty cheap, though. (Relatively speaking.) Being blind is expensive.

This comment shouldn't be downvoted. Point to a 750 billion dollar company that doesn't have undue market power.

From a legal perspective, monopoly just means holding undue market power. People seem to really focus on the "mono" part, it's irrelevant from a US legal perspective.

This is true. Also, when was the last time you sat down and ate five oranges? Processing changes what you eat. Oranges are pretty good for you, orange juice often is not.

Sure, and the flu isn't over, either, last time I checked it's still circulating and a large number of people die every year from it. Eventually you have to go live your life.
