How many other embedded systems on our networks have these backdoors? As the number of important devices (Nest, I'm looking at you) on my home network increases, so does my risk profile.

To be fair, it was reasonable for her not to assume that whatever she found on a search would be up-to-date. Some people also like to tailor their resumes for the recipient.

Does anyone know what's behind this? Is it that people don't buy a lot of cars in Norway? Average income is significantly higher? Different income profile of car buyers specifically? Some kind of social effect, like prestige?

To be fair, this is CPM, not CPC. So the click vs view thing is already accounted for.

This makes me feel like the creators think that all sharing is on Facebook. I know it's not true, but it's still irritating to see useful products locked up in Facebook's walled garden.

I will say that the main reason I never applied to any startup was the fear that I'd end up working 60, 80, or more hours a week. I value my free time far too highly. Not to mention the very well-established productivity declines that

That's almost certainly because Google searches are significantly more likely to indicate purchasing intent. That means advertisers will pay more per search than per timeline view.

The cloudy headed thing is almost certainly due to a too-large dose. gwern recommends somewhere around 1/10th of the dose you are taking. I've been splitting 1mg pills in half.

This. So much this. Cheap connectors are a huge source of loss in these systems, and eliminating them can be a much bigger win than expensive capacitors.

Works if you add this line: char main[] __attribute__((section(".text"))); (You get a warning from the assembler.)
