Variables means modifiable. Using variables as final values is bad. This is so simple that no explanations are needed.

I do this to adapt it, to make code more secure and serious. I embrace other features in Go but not this one. This one makes Go some like a non-serious language.

Specifically, generics and immutable values. Lacking of generics lead to much repetitive code. I don't like using exported variables as final values, so I need to use functions to return the final values, which is verbose and not elega

Several years ago, I very don't like the way and the pace C++ introduces new features. But now the way and pace has become normal, I change my mind some. I think it is the time I should re-use C++ for some projects. It would be some re

That is just a small detail example. I'm surprised that no other popular languages do the same as Go. In fact, Go is really more flexible than many dynamic languages in several aspects.

It is a real need sometimes (many times in fact) in programming. This is one of reasons why Go is so flexible. You can't have the best of both worlds. You win some and lose some. Rust avoids this but loses flexibility.

Ah, looks both have their own rationality. ":" is ok for single-value returns. AS3 also uses ":". The Haskell language looks interesting. Maybe I should spend some time to study it.

Some reasonable, but I see a new inconsistency here. Shouldn't fn foo(fn (int) -> string) be more consistent?

IMHO, "fn add(a: int, b: int): int" is far more consistent than "fn add(a: int, b: int) -> int". At least it is self consistent.
