It was fun to read the recommendation to switch from W to X. I guess we are now back to W :P

This looks very exiting! I am a long-time Sony DPT/Fujitsu Quaderno user and love these kind of devices. My question would be whether you have plans in the future to make a 13.3" version. The 10" versions are just too small f

I started using noted (also a variant of neo2) [1] and I love it. I did change some things in the Layer 4 (mostly placed the numbers on the left hand and arrows arranged in-line, similar to vim). I really like how it works. I'm using a

A new version of Typst has been released with a bunch of improvements. This is really getting closer and closer to being a definite replacement for Latex. There is still a lot to do for that, but it is a really nice project. I have been a L

That's what I thought too, but after reading the book "Breath" by James Nestor (as others have mentioned in this thread) I decided to try that. And it really works. I think that if you exhale to fast and inhale immediately, t

I am (was) one of those people (allergies and slightly deviated septum). I started to really breath through my nose about two years ago. I always thought that it would not be possible, because I felt that I could not get enough air. I start

I think that the poor excuses are in the other side. Adding DRM to files to actively preventing the user to choose in which devices he/she wants to read the file and for how long the content will be available goes against the whole con

This is really an issue that should not exist. I have also bought textbooks only to be immediately disappointed by the fact that you have to use a specific app (like the adobe DRM thing... or just try to get your money back). Then you have

I love blender, but the Python API is really unpythonic. I really wish you could treat the different things as objects and not by referencing then by their names. Nevertheless, it's pretty cool to automate some things I have to do at w

I think that Microsoft should train copilot with their own code (they own certainly enough lines of code after all). If they think that that would not be a fair use, then why should be a fair use to use somebody else's code?

There is surely a version for Linux. I have been using it in my computer with Archlinux [1] for a couple of years with vim (there are at least two plugins [2,3]). It works pretty good. The only thing is that when running it locally it kind

I came here just to say this too. They don't need to reinvent the whole wheel again. In this case all it is needed is to change the screen and add the Electrophoretic Display Controller. That would be the most efficient approach.

I also come from Archlinux. A few months ago I discovered the mpr repository [1]. It is essentially the same as the AUR bit for Ubuntu. The syntax is also the same as the AUR packages, so it is super easy to port a package to Ubuntu. I high

I am really happy about this. Kinds should really learn basic concepts of programming and in general of how a computer works. They don't all need to become super programmers, but it would definitely help them in the future, if only to

I totally agree with you. I use the python API in Blender to make some renderings of mechanical connections we are developing. As a python expert I am always a bit disoriented by how things should be handled. It would be really great if the

I am delighted to see that they have Linux support for their software. You don't see that so often, especially for such niche hardware. Really cool!
