Surely you are not serious. The diversity of Linux package managers has led to some great ideas, with different distributions implementing some things differently. Open source software means everyone is free to scratch their itch, and that

Exherbo is the singular item on that list which does not use ebuilds; the lack of progress and technical stagnation of Gentoo is what led to the Exherbo founders starting their own distribution and develop a new package format. The package

I have been using Exherbo for about 5 years fulltime and never looked back. It is a vanilla source-based distro with a focus on flexibility and users who know what they are doing. I would recommend people check out what it is about if that

It's more true in this case than anything Jon Oliver may have done (who indeed tapped into a wider, already-existing movement to end civil as was mentioned elsewhere on this thread). The Zadroga Act was severely at risk of not getting

It has happened with major pieces of legislation a few times at least; another high-profile comedian well-acknowledged to have turned the tide of public discourse is Jon Stewart. His work on the daily show single-handedly ensured that the Z

It gets an incredible amount of use in the physical science and applied maths communities, and that's not only in academia. It's an extensive standard for message passing that allows distributed (non- shared-memory) computations.

While what you say is true, I would draw a different conclusion. It seems more likely that the students would prefer working in a field closer to what they studied, but the lack of positions means they had to look elsewhere. Finance knows t

Only if you assume that English should be the default language when it comes to higher education institutions' names. And we all know Japan has a bit of a reputation for xenophobia. I wouldn't expect this to change any time soon.

That's only true if you are using those features 100% of the time though, right ? By which I mean, there is no doubt a trade-off in play when you only use the features for 15% of your workload. This is because the chip must be powered
