Only the OPNsense seems to support ECC memory. The Intel boards would be so amazing if not for their artifical segmentation.

Is their IPv6 implementation is still broken? It was the reason I moved off immediately after banging my head for a few hours because they somehow managed to screw it up despite RFCs advising how to do such deployments.

You seem to be confusing the set of standards called 5G and the high-frequency mmWave bands that are an option part of it. mmWave makes little sense except in special areas and that's also why there's very very limited deployement

I would be surprised if it did. But you probably shouldn't do professional work on GPUs that lack ECC memory.

It would be quite surprising if reverse records were the reason. The vast majority of sites certainly don't have them pointing back. Impossible to do with many providers and probably basically all CDNs.

From R155 4.3.1 "threats regarding back-end servers related to vehicles in the field" covers it? Of course the whole standard is still pretty focused on the on-vehicle side of things, but it certainly touches on it. Surprised to s

Same. I would really love to see a laptop like the Latitude 5430, but just with ECC added.

That's only possible if you have national defence obligation, i.e. you completed the compulsory draft or have applied so otherwise. In both cases you need to have citizenship, basic education, of good health, not in jail, no criminal p

Is there any point in switching to mesh shaders if I don't have any use for the flexibility they provide? For example, do the new semantics allow faster execution on newer hardware for converted boring vertex shaders?

Is there anything the spec that actually requires that? AFAIK it's just that major implementators (browsers) have chosen to enforce TLS.

Doesn't that still only remove the records from DNS? So far for all Cloudflare sites that IPv6 disabled I've been able to derive the IPv6 address by hand and make requests without issues.

Currently there are no proxies in front and you connect directly to their baremetal server hosting the site. I presume the anti-spam system is custom-built and part of their own codebase. Cloudflare is officially sanctioned, but retired fro

The most touted reason is that their anti-spam systems only support IPv4. Their old Cloudflare endpoint however is still alive and you can't disable IPv6 on Cloudflare so feel free to add the following to your /etc/hosts:

Basically all SoCs these days have plenty of different clock frequencies for different parts. Number of clock domains can easily be over a hundred.

It's on their list fortunately. Until then you can derive and use the IPv6 address for their old Cloudflare endpoint. I pinged them to update the backend IP for it after the outage switched to a new server. Might need to do that again

That's too short of a timeframe in the silicon world. If it's considered important we'll see something in M3, but more likely in M4.

What you're talking about is 5G mmWave. Previous longer frequencies remain usable with 5G. Last I looked into it mmWave was a tiny portion of 5G deployments, as it only makes in very dense urban areas due to the reasons you noted. Of c
