Seems to me that if you are a decently talented developer one would be able to adjust to whatever work methodology a company uses. It's a pointless thing to involve whether a candidate knows anything of the system currently in place. E

I often wonder if costs could be lowered for many of these companies if they would stop locating in some of the country's most expensive places to operate and for their employees to live. I know the arguments about workforce availabili

The article is worse, it suggests that the Javascript language itself is what has doing the lying. Not people, the language. Keep that in mind.

I'd rather pay $8 a month for access to thousands of TV shows and movies I might want to watch versus paying $4 one time for a movie I know I want to watch. Especially when the movie I want to see will likely eventually show up on my $

I believe there is some sort of automatic compensation for being wrongfully convicted in many areas, depending on the court that did the conviction. Being wrongfully jailed before conviction is a different matter.

You're not going back far enough. I would say that throughout much of history there has been similar problems with all justice systems.

Not that I disagree, but there are examples of the opposite sentiment being used by elected officials during campaigns to get certain demographics to vote for them.

On the flip side of that, would anybody get upset if an author was asked "why a male character"? What if the author was female? The whole thinking behind that kind of complaint within the context of the question with no reason is

Why is that "getting crap" though? It's a legitimate question to ask with many possible interesting answers. His answer was actually quite good, no real reason other than it felt right for the character.
