I'd redefine it as a "mega-website/tracker container", to limit the scope of those sites that get seemingly everywhere. That would include the social networks but also the likes of google and maybe amazon.

Huh, I never noticed the latency when talking on a mobile phone, but I also don't remember the last time I used a landline, so maybe I just forgot how much better it was. The reason I hate the phone function of my phone is that I see c

Sounds like what Perl 6 does :) You can add optional type signatures, and you get compile-time checks disallowing impossible usages of these: > sub takes-string(Str $foo) { } sub takes-string (Str $foo) { #`(Sub|94327719210888) ...

Oh, absolutely; I can definitely feel the impact of the 12-15 l/100km ;) But since it's Poland, like seemingly half of the cars here this one too was converted into an LPG+Gas hybrid, halving the fuel costs.

Both cars I owned were used, but if I had excess money I would probably go for a new car because of how shit the 2nd hand market can be. You never really know what you buy unless you pay a 3rdparty expert to verify that the thing you'r

Depending on how much you can live without it, I suppose, but old quality cars actually hold up really well. I bought a 1996 Mercedes-Benz E-class last year, it was 21 years old then. It cost me about 2300€ (with a set of winter tires), I d

The problem with all these P2P approaches is that they work sometimes, or barely. Aforementioned file.pizza can't even send me a file between my laptop and desktop, both being behind the same NAT. EDIT: Well what do I know, it worked t

Not OP, but the author here: the JVM bug is reported at https://github.com/jnthn/zavolaj/issues/38 . I could workaround it, but I dind't (yet) bother to do it. So, not really a JVM bug, but rather a bug i
