I share this sentiment, in regard of -pretty much- everything. And like you, I don't like some of the Firefox novelties. Still I feel they are doing well, and attentive to complaints like yours. Lets look back to the 2008, for example:

Interesting. It reminds a bit of the tag files of riot.js [1] Another possible approach (widely practiced today) is to have the children template extend the main template and override some blocks in the main template (you can do it with twi

The kind of copies one does to be safe in the case the original repo disappears for some reason. Ironic.

This reminds me of the Youtube "show your real name" trick, which was met with much outrage: the refusal buttons are ridiculously small, the wording of the second screen is confusing. I hope this was just a bad marketing idea and

The AGPL choice puts them in the very same field of play of the (now dead?) status.net/identi.ca. Was it a good choice? I'd say not.

Very nice. Tip: dragging 1 over 3 does switch them, as I would expect. 3 over 1 works though.

It is not specifically built on Chrome. It happens to be developed on chrome because that's the tool of choice of Facebook devs. Incidentally, a Firefox version is now available.

If you can afford it road-map wise, starting with the easy details and postponing the hard stuff works sometime. When the easy things are done, the hard things sometime become less hard, and the project got itself more rewarding so it'

Giving a quick look, "graph" here seems used more like a "relational nosql" than an engine to do perform complex/custom graph traversal or implement algorithms.
