FreeBSD and Jails are a fully packaged product, but the product isn't what you would like it to be, simply. They are meant to be building blocks for your own customised solutions, not a 'software application' like Docker is.

What kind of drivers? Pop an iso of what, where? I hardly can think of anything one could do with FreeBSD and Jails that would involve any 'drivers' - mind elaborating a bit?

Well, I would argue that it still makes sense, depending on what you want to achieve: world-top networking performance? FreeBSD. 1st class ZFS support? FreeBSD. Not being vulnerable to widespread Linux exploits (Shellshock, for example)? Fr

As much as I applaud any initiatives of creating workable solutions with great FreeBSD primitives (Jail containers, ZFS, great TCP/IP stack and so on) pretty much anything that's not working with widespread adopted standards (Kube

You will find people using Hackintosh machines with AMD cpu's just fine (as much as fine it is possible for a Hackintosh, that is).

You start by identifying the reasons behind why your application/service may fail and then design and implement the infrastructure for it, that can withstand certain failures for a cost you can bear. If a failure of a piece of infrastr

This is exactly the reason why restarts shouldn't be ever considered a fix, as I've elaborated on a bit more in my other comment in this thread. They fix noting, but give an illusion of it.

Restarting the service and redeploying it should be absolutely the last resort and aren't really sound advice, mainly, because you are losing the invaluable crashed state of the system, that may be vital (sometimes logs are not enough)

For which to get on you need an address to live at. For which to get one, you need a bank account (at least, but in 99.9% cases this alone is not enough), otherwise no agency is going to give rent you a house.
