Arizona ranks very low on frequency of natural disasters, but there is a lot of temperature related aggression. Its kind of normal to be threatened with a gun.

It appears that way - I cannot fathom the mentality that actively supports censorship. The internet was beautiful, information open and available for all. That idea became so powerful it’s now a threat. Sigh.

California’s income tax is higher than the states you listed - sans NYC with an additional 4.5% city tax on top of state income tax. Having left California a long time ago the reduction in income tax alone equated to a 10% raise.

Single family detached homes are meant for isolation. Living next to people sucks. Having your own home was a luxury. I’m extremely sensitive to sound and absolutely cannot share any walls with anyone.
