Interesting, for me it was quite poetic and a phrasing I specifically noticed and enjoyed. I guess I did know Jupiters the biggest, but wouldn't have been 100% on it, or on heaviest. Not that I'd have a better suggestion, just not

I imagine when people started using the typewriter, some people writing on paper said similar things. Ultimately 'shady' things are irrelevant. Shady is subjective, and people don't use a technology for lack of related things

Indeed, if LLMs are just distilled training data, their perspective will be quite human. Makes me think it could be interesting to train them on data from set periods instead, to get varied perspectives, and then see how their perspectives

In which direction(s) do you think it's skewed? I ask as I'd guess in favour of Musk, but in the last paragraph it says Grok said Musk/doge cuts contributed to the 24 deaths in Texas floods.

Well if they asked it such a loaded question as "Is there a particular group" is it that surprising it answered with a particular group? This seems as much a repeat of the many instances of sycophancy observed with LLMs. Over inde

This makes it sound like our personalities are a function of our own agency. What about genetics? I agree that our personalities are partly a function of our past lives (trauma as you say), but that's only part of the picture surely.

Yes, that makes sense, if there were many instances and really the leader could have observed that and better lead. My comment was about this approach in general, and specifically when it's just one incident resulting in someones head

I've always thought leaders resigning in the face of a problem, were doing a greater disservice. Bit of a cop out. Kind of like "Yeah I made a mess, but anyway - bye". That's when you need to rise to it and resolve the p

I wonder what the implication on data protection / privacy laws and the like would be. Would it be as simple as there'd be no laws, or is the location of the users still relevant?

I'm not sure this is entirely correct. Many have studied homelessness in an attempt to remedy it, and found that it is largely a choice* and thus near impossible to solve with resources from the outside. *Sure, not a 'Hey, this lo

Sure, but is that relevant? I'm not sure people below the poverty line are acquiring SV companies. In this case as I understand it, no money is being paid - it's a stock deal. For stock that isn't yet publicly trading, thus &

I'd guess it's more recent, since it's more recently we scaled. With slavery, there wasn't consent. So I'm not sure that's comparable. > I pray I get to live to see the end of all of the above in my life tim

You accused someone of eugenics which is a big statement. I'm sure you're aware of the connotations attached to it. As such the onus is on you to back it up. So far you haven't. That the guy talked about autism as causing suf

The framing of it as natural was to point out that you can't get rid of it. It would be like getting rid of people having favourite colours. We just act like that. >"“We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did t

Thanks. In your view, if people want to get rid of capitalism, or live in post capitalism or whatever, do you think that's possible? I still think you'd need to have consent, and you wouldn't get it as some people want to t

Thanks for such a breakdown at that scale. I appreciate it. (sorry for my slow reply). I think my view of Capitalism is over-indexed to the human to human level. Although as I zoom up to ownership and 1 to many relationships, it gets more c

Ok, so you don't have evidence of his eugenics, and have instead created a far broader 'eugenics today' category which is to reduce undesirable traits (so broad that it's useless imo). There's something to some of

If it naturally occurs, it's natural. That there are other systems doesn't mean one begets the other. Diversity exists. Thus your counter example point doesn't make the point you're alluding to. It's a straw man. Li
