I didn't even think that was possible, but I'm not surprised. Tor is a good concept, but it's incredibly slow and only works some of the time. Hopefully this leads to new software. It seems like a lot of Tor traffic is internet. Rather than

Why compare it to 99designs? I don't see any resemblance and you're almost hurting yourself with this comparison. "Crowdsourcing" may be a better word choice. But you're asking for a "bid" instead of actual work, so it isn't even technicall

I've seen a few of these before. Here's an interesting one if you can figure it out. http://web.archive.org/web/20120722010228/http://forrst.com/...

Photoshop slicing gives you a table. Simply set the background color of each cell and set the borders and padding to zero.

Very interesting concept. You could extend this to allow site owners to filter through the beta list by certain areas or other metrics and grant access accordingly. Prioritizing by a simple list may not work as well, as it might be a bit de

You'd be surprised. There are sites out there with millions of users designed by amateur programmers. It really is as simple as SQL injection.

There probably isn't one best marketing method, and there's no way to know. Try a small run of all of them and see which work. As far as getting press coverage, you're better off writing a guest post about something valuable and interesting

It certainly can work. Twitter is a good example. But it's hard to get any investment, pay any bills, or hire any employees if you don't at least have a plan to make money in the future. Don't say "I have no clue", say "I'm focusing on grow

I've talked to these guys several times. They fail to address the exact problem I mentioned. They only have a few books, and they suck. They need to somehow find lots of teachers willing to write books.

You're absolutely right. Is there any way to solve this? I don't know that a small publisher could ever give them this recognition. Maybe find some that are interested in money versus fame?

I don't have an NFL fantasy team per se. I pick the players I like most that happen to be playing that weekend. I might also grab a different player depending on the defense he's up against. Hope that helps!

Textbooks. The market is controlled by a half dozen huge companies that charge around 10x too much because they can. I intend to tackle it one day. The biggest hurdle is actually finding instructors willing to write a textbook.

Now that's just pathetic. Can they not come up with anything more clever than blatant poaching of customers? Same approach with many Bing commercials. Microsoft just hates Google for reason.
