You are holding your palm flat towards screen, right? :) It's one of those things you apply only when it suits you, and ignore when it doesn't work to your benefit. Jokes aside: I wrote this because it's both sad and interest

The One Palm Rule. I know a few people that promote this :) If it's larger then your palm, when you streach a hand towards screen, you are not obliged to read it. Suprisingly effective, especially if you are open about it. Of course it

I actually prefer the toggle button for regional search. Also when I search in native tongue Google sometimes (like when using brand names, models of devices etc) gives me 2-4 pages of advertisement and stores links. It's hard to find

Google Music was crap service from the very start. It was clunky and heavy on all platforms, could not distinguish completely different artists from each other because they thought band names are unique and music range was poor compared to

I wish Microsoft actually used such icons on their websites, instead of screwed up fonts that don't work on Linux. I have to add microsoft fonts to my linux and it still doesn't work, as some languages don't have all those ch

Internal repo that does caching of images is rather obvious and a good practice, but it still doesn't mean that 100 pulls are that many. Maybe we understand something different by a "small" team, but IMHO a smaller team uses

Being locked out from google account is one of my biggest fears in practical computer usage. Over the years I can't even tell how much I'm sunk into using tiny pieces of google's services, even though for most crucial things

To be fair, he did wrote "ball" not "sphere". I'm pretty sure my head and a ball share a lot of roundness but my head has way more parts that are sticking out. Also has way less of pentagon patches on it.

Wow, a fast winamp, like it used to be. It even collapses to those tiny little menu and can use skins. Pure awesomeness.

It's pain in the ass when you troubleshoot CI problems as well. Was the issue before or after this particular commit? Can't tell, have to check in some other tool.

The over way around is also annoying: what if you have a limited connection but you are on WiFi? Say, you share from another phone using hotspot feature. Some tools allow to control this, but others will update the shit out of your mobile p
