Exactly. That twitter thread is just pure rage based on no data. Sum up resources from that page - we are talking around 6500GB* of RAM worth of servers. That is no homelab. * Maybe a bit more/less, because it's not clear to me if

It is impressive, but it's not a raspberry pi kind of setup. Just two of those "couple" are hot and standby DB servers with 1.5TB RAM. That infrastructure is scaled A LOT vertically.

Are additional RAM gigabytes anything important for a switch? Especially one that delivers on the parameters? Does BPI-R2 actually supports those distributions, or rather those distributions "can run" on that hardware? That's

Philips and others do this as well. It always made me angry, but I'm not surprised by that decision.

I'm missing the point of this site. It guides to nix.dev. How is that alternative to docker? Edit: wow, it even promotes commercial services, like Cachix. I'm not even curious any more.

I'm afraid that red line is it. The gaming industry spoiled us, giving us so many weird "simulators". This thing would be called "red line simulator" on Steam, and would likely still sell well.

Have you had a closer look at that synchronize state stuff? I can't see much in the article. > devices synchronize state using a LAN If that has anything to do with music latency, then it's not "nothing substantial".

You guys focus on her taking nudes, but what about that "discovery" thing? Maybe it's obvious in some regions, but what is going on here? Why was a person forced to hand over their personal communication with no exceptions? T

It's not that weird to be honest, if you consider a mockup applicable to 1). Mockups and rough design diagrams should be pretty much obvious and omnipresent. We often start from a visual aid and move on from that level to actual detail

Maybe there is no screenshot tool yet :O There is a youtube channel linked below with some SerenityOs content, but that's hardly an excuse.

Correct, that is exactly what I was referring to. Back in the old days of addons to Firefox it used to be possible there as well. Vieb looks cool, but I've already learned Vimium and likely won't switch. Same as with screen and tm

Judging by the index it is more like a "shell 101" plus some bash. Also a paid one. It's cool, people need such stuff but the title is misleading and the article is basically an ad for a paid service.

I find all of this hilarious as what I've learned about audio production is that delays are used as equalizers, comb filtering effect used in practice. Not just on analogue devices, I was told once by (AFAIR?) Drumgizmo devs that digit

Why? And what do you propose? Knames are mostly ok, a user knows right from package list if this app is meant for his environment, or rather not. Same with gApps. The name tells what the app does. Why would I be mad at this?
