Try any earplugs. They will all have that effect to some extent. In earplugs I can hear lyrics of a song that bus driver listens to, while without them I could not even tell if that's music or just noise. A minor warning: experiencing

I thought it turquoise... Which is a constant battle with me and my wife: she has her blue-range shifted A LOT into my green-range. And this is precisely a tool where we could attempt to measure that. Thanks OP!

That just proves one struggles with a lot of not well thought out assignments, not with all of them. That still means a badly designed book. I grew up, as most of my friends, using a lot of xeroed exercise books and exercises notebooks. Mon

It seems to me Germans in general like to use English phrases, but on the contrary from other European places I know, they like to use the original pronunciation and spelling. Us, Poles, like to make it sound like Polish, add our own declen

For me it was always Ansible docs. A nice balance between full reference, guides and examples. Not fancy, but somehow I was always able to find my way around it. Impressive, considering the insane amount of modules there with such huge rang

That's exactly what is going on nowadays, anyway. In Poland we have Chmura Krajowa (national cloud), aimed at public, non profit and finance companies. It's basically more controlled local Azure and GPC region.

Without regulation they just sold your data to hundred companies without any chance of you knowing, or ability to deny... and that's better?

I would argue on the "navigation system" being better in gmaps, though. It used to be the navigation. Nowadays in many places it just shows bullshit. Two scooter ubereats drivers will go through a park, or a tractor through a li

That's actually amazing. Can't wait for dockable apps support. That could be a killer app for operators - half desktop, half monitoring dashboard, haha :) I can already see those dockable tiles with Prometheus metrics.

Future comes in at point were we actually circle back. "Black is always in fashion" kind of thing. Ditch modern ad endpoints (a.k.a. operating systems) and go back to those distros we used 20 years ago. Accept that those don'

In the happy wild times of custom ROMs frenzy on Android (around versions 2.6-4), there was plenty of such attempts. Many devs included them directly in ROM by default. Unfortunately, all I saw were rather dirty hacks that only kinda worked

I'm not great in that field at all, but in Poland private companies existed. At first (after 1945) they hoped to survive until regime will be gone "in a few years". Then the regime tried to kill those one by one. Private owne

Private companies existed, although there were less. IFAIR restaurants as you may know were less common. Usually in hotels, next to train stations, in gov buildings, tourist shelters and so on. Often run by gov-owned networks. You required

I see. For me it was worse with WSL1, where all file operations were scanned by slow enterprise DLP software. Now with WSL2 most pains I see are related to broken routing when also using VPNs on host. That is where that vpnkit tool shines.

I'm curious if you are sure it's antivirus? WSL networking is weird and can be a pain in the ass. Especially in VPNs are used. I'm wondering if you know wsl-vpnkit?

I have a feeling most commenters (not just here) don't really know what Falcon is and does, if EDR (and more?) keeps getting compared to a plain antivirus.

Thats cool but also so unusual for me. You just don't add card details at all here, and if you do, you just trust that service and save it permanently. If someone is actual heavy card user, he will have temporary/shortlived cards

How is that "unstoppable connectivity you can't turn off"? And why would Internet connectivity in IoT surprise us - that's what the "I" stands for. Just a smart bulb itself is not really how you use that. For i

These kinds of mesh solutions are rather omnipresent in IoT already, like ZigBee. Would am iPhone acting as a bridge do more harm than a smart bulb acting as a bridge?
