No, JS is executed in single thread. If you have at least two cores and don't have running antivirus full scan or searching for prime numbers, background processes shouldn't affect the score.

Similar for Iron 30.0 They've changed something drastically recently in SpiderMonkey. When I tried my application for FOS on desktop Firefox Nightly performance was much better than few months ago.

Tomshardware has the good benchmarks for "hacker" usage. In my opinion Phoronix does the best job about benchmarking, but usually you must wait a little.

The cheapest Android phone I found costs 50 euro. You can easily find feature phone for 15-20 euro.

No, Android user wants apps. iPhone is just expensive as hell. Android is much cheaper alternative. People who want "just phone with browser" usually buy Nokia Asha or feature phone.

Seems like a lot of work. They had to port, at least partially, some core engine's capabilities (graphics, physics etc.). They could just enchance some existing PC game or demo. Maybe Forza will be something like launch title for DX12?

Apps are sandboxed. To inject something you need to plug a phone into computer with ADB.
