This is the Android problem all over again. Some argue that Linux is the most popular graphical desktop/mobile OS. I think, however, that back then when we were dreaming about Linux desktops we wanted the freedom, not necessarily or on

This is what Liquibase does. It does some other stuff for you as well, quite simple ones, but time has proven (to me/us) that they're all useful in real-life scenarios: - exclusive lock to prevent multiple instances running at the

What's your issue with OneDrive on Android? It has been working perfectly for me and for everyone around me for many years. Really fast sync, tight integration with the OS, and so on.

I don't like semver. If the library follows the rules, then... Separation of minor and patch versions doesn't make sense. Both in the case of a minor or patch version change the client should be able to upgrade to the latest versi

Stack allocation and value allocation are different. In C#, value types can be allocated on the stack, but reference types are always allocated on the heap. The OP describes an approach where reference types are stored on the stack.

Because the JVM is fast. And it's not resource hungry - your program might be resource hungry. Bad desktop Java programs misled a whole generation of programmers about the JVM. Look at stuff like LMAX. Java can be lightning fast.
