Very cool list. I made a 67 server runtimes that has some overlap and some other PaaS services like Northflank https://twitter.com/sytses/status/1400134840754733059?s=21

This is a very confusing issue description which is caused by a confusing error message. This comment https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28540665 does a great job explaining the context. TLDR; you can't have a userna

GitLab had a Web IDE since Jan 2018 and we're considering adding the same . shortcut for it in https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/340095

I have one for the San Francisco BART system and I love the product. It was easy to set up and has stayed up for multiple months. It is beautiful and a nice reminder of the weekend (way fewer trains).

See https://twitter.com/bodiecabiyo/status/1427683107788845056?s... TLDR; there is a percentage set aside for fires but it seems way too little.

That is an interesting idea outside of my proposal. The problems with summarizing comments this might be: 1. The comments might be much more text than the article. 2. The comments are probably more disjointed than the article and harder to

1. Makes sense, I think the criteria would be hitting the homepage and updated the form to reflect that. 2. I'm not anticipating a summary of comments, just of the article. 3. I agree that getting the summary quickly (at most one hour

In GitLab you can limit concurrency by using a resource group https://about.gitlab.com/blog/2020/01/21/introducing-resourc... Does that address your need? Edit with more context: We use CI for deploying

Relevant to this I recently asked on Twitter: “I wonder if Facebook is dogfooding the metaverse. Are they holding many meetings in VR? The Oculus Quest is a great device but I want to use it about as much as I use rollercoasters, not as muc

I couldn't agree more. We see it all the time that companies spend a ton of time and money on top of their tools. We call it DIY DevOps https://about.gitlab.com/DIY-DevOps/ and frequently see a big saving when mov
