I've RTX discrete card maxed out laptop with 64GB RAM, dual SSDs, 4K OLED and what not. It was priced at around $4500. The battery life is about 2 hours and fan runs so fast that it almost sounds like a siren. I'd to do hours wort

We sure don't read entire wikipedia but out speech/text consumption is pretty high and we take long time to learn. At 150 words/minute, I would say babies probably consume about 10 million tokens before they start to speak. B

Quotas in politics is a great idea and important. Politics is all about representation and without quotas population is not represented properly in law making chambers. As it is, binary democratic systems means majority can out-vote minorit

I still don’t understand why passports are required in official paper. It’s just a bar code that guy scans to retrieve the official record with photo ID on their server. Anything printed on paper passport is worthless and untrustworthy.

It looks like our demand/supply ecosystem was setup with negligible buffers and unprepared for any big disruptions. This is a chain reaction that might go on for quite some time. Meanwhile prices of goods is getting pretty crazy!

This is definitely becoming epidemic. Online sellers like Amazon should start adding "Verified" checkbox for actual companies. There should be clarity and filter on "Made in XYZ". The 3rd party sellers should be clearly

If you are relying on Turbotax, you are making a big mistake. I think they have stopped improving it much and now just "milk the cow" mode. I can think of 10 thousand improvements but each year they are same old same old. So I wen

Plus I completely dislike the title. These kind of papers treat arxiv as if it is discussion group. It is not. It is paper repository for things that has been written with lot of care and thought.

We are in for The Great Supply Crisis. This is everywhere from fuel to agriculture to chips. I believe the high level picture is that a significant percentage of labor force has decided not to return to work and that causes staffing crisis

I read in the news that there is plenty of fuel available but no truck drivers to transport it. UK is offering 3000+ emergency visa for truck drivers. The labor supply for truck drivers suddenly dissapeared but we have no idea why.

The article is nothing but a hit piece, very likely funded by meat industry. I don’t see any theoretical reasons argued here. You cannot write off future potential based on current state of technology. It’s like you will look at mainframe

It's amusing to see how various gaps are shrinking between two genders. Although still a long way to go, pay gaps are starting to shrink, at least at big corps. On the other end, for things like marital affair rates, both genders are n
