From the linked opinion piece below [1]: A recent N.C.A.A. study determined that only about 20 of the 1,000 or so college sports programs in the nation were profitable. The 30 largest universities in the country each routinely generate a

With regard to your last paragraph. I believe it is the amount of money that is the corrupting influence. It's not college athletics per se but rather the massive amount of money spent on certain sports that generates problems. The

Schools are not making fortunes off of college football. With few exceptions football programs do not pay for themselves with their revenue. I haven't looked into it but I doubt any football program paid for the stadium they use so I

Thank you for the link to the Pew research. Here’s my response to the claims of the research and this response is solely based off of my observations and clearly my observations could have led me astray. In 1980 anyone claiming Jimmy Carte

Instead of comparing the murder rate to the entire U.S. it’s more telling to compare Newark’s current murder rate to it’s historic rate [1]. In 2019 it was at a 6 decade minimum. https://abc7ny.com/newark-crime-rate-murders

The buyer does not pay for the costs of using real estate agents in upfront money. They pay the cost of using agents by paying a higher price for the property, all other things being equal, if no agents are used.

What kind of society do you want to live in? One where children’s attention can be exploited at the whim of corporations because they happen to have parents that aren’t vigilant enough? Shouldn’t society in the form of it’s government loo

Perhaps you missed this sentence: Those nations are threats to various interests of ours and some pose economic threats to our position and interests. It’s not always described as the U.S. imposing it’s will. The U.S. seeks to impose it’

Then why use MSM instead of just “mass media” or instead of just saying, “verify sources to the extent possible”? My claim is that Facebook has far more power to do damage than the sources you’ve stated.

You apply the term MSM and thus must have a notion of what constitutes the MSM, right? So which media sources don't count as MSM? If you can't name such sources then why use MSM instead of "mass media"?

Gödel showed that a consistent, recursively enumerable axiomatic system capable of producing the standard model of natural numbers will have statements in which that statement is true in some models but not in other models.
