Apple would probably create something they're proud of and would use themselves. And they'd sell it for real money.

Yup. I consider Ryanair to be the most innovative airline in the world, and they have been for several years. Most other carriers are content with copying the business models that have succeeded earlier or elsewhere. Ryanair gets up every d

The US strikes me as having less aversion to financial risk than any other nation. It's how they get into trouble (economic downturn) but it's also how they pump out true innovation. The US also has an overall aversion towards the distribut

Just saw the Nike Chalkbot on the Versus coverage of the 2nd stage. Quite entirely on topic :) There are sections of the road made solid yellow with Livestrong logos and supporter messages. France and Lance may not love each other, but they

Couldn't agree more. The author appears unfamiliar with how Twitter actually works pragmatically. Anyone following more than 100-200 folks on Twitter is likely in the category of "Filthy Marketer." Anyone routinely posting more than 3-4 tim

I don't count my company's use of XP against Microsoft. I am suggesting that's one of the challenges they face: installed base. We didn't upgrade to Vista because there was no compelling reason. The hardware requirements were stiff and none

I don't see how they could have done otherwise. They are delivering very little in the way of innovation and have no real focus as a business. From my angle their products are less impressive than their peers in each market segment, with th

We use Pivotal Tracker to manage our agile development at an airline. We love the open nature of the tool, in that it only presents the bare bones of what you'll need and then you can make it work in any way you want. We also like the dynam
